The graduate certificate in Teaching and Learning is intended to provide participants with a combination of formal pedagogical training, practical experience, and mentoring that will prepare them to be effective college or university teachers and instructors.

The Certificate in Teaching and Learning is a graduate-level academic credential, and the program is open to any Rice graduate student or postdoctoral scholar in good academic standing in a Rice degree-granting program.

Teaching and Learning does not currently offer an academic program at the undergraduate level.

Description: This practicum allows students to design and deliver teaching demonstrations and to receive feedback on their work.
